Students
"Christians Alive is not a meeting you go to,
it's a family you belong to!”
Students are a valuable part of our church life. We aim to help students become part of the family and be involved in church life, which extends far beyond only attending a Sunday morning meeting.
Student Lunch
Every week during term time after the Sunday celebration we provide a lunch for students. Not only is it tastebud-tastic, but it gives you the opportunity to take time to get to know other students in the church.
F Plan
We encourage anyone new to the church to go through the ‘F Plan’ programme. This will help you find out more about the church, get to know other people in the church and have a chance to ask your questions over a donut or two.
"...Belonging to church whilst I am at uni is important to me. From the very first time I came here, I felt welcomed and as if I belonged. Now as part of the youth leadership team, Christians Alive is helping me to grow further in my relationship with God and has provided me with a family away from home."
Hayley Donovan

"What’s so brilliant about Christians Alive is the diversity of people who all love God. The teaching is fantastic and it’s a great place to worship our amazing God."
Holly Martin
Get Stuck In
Many of our current students are involved in youth work, children's work, worship team, stewarding and overseas mission. We support students who are involved with the Christian Union and encourage them to make a positive difference on their campus. A large number of church members have been students themselves and are able to identify with student needs.
International Students
We are also part of a group of churches, who run an International Cafe for students from all over the world who are studying in Lancaster. Have a look at www.internationalcafe.org.uk
