NISCU
exists to provide children and young people in education with knowledge and understanding of the Christian Faith as expressed in the Bible and to support children and young people who choose to express their faith in their community. Most young people have no church connection, but they do all go to school, so what better place to share some good news about Jesus? We are able to do so through assemblies, lessons, clubs and CUs, and also support local church volunteers, teachers and others working in schools. And there’s the highlight of the year, the summer camp, which has proved to be a significant time in the Christian journey of very many young people.
How can you be involved?
- pray regularly for your local school and the young people who go there, as well as for our own church’s young people
- read the bi-monthly newsletter available on the notices-board in the main hall, and check out our website www.niscu.org.uk (don’t miss the video!)
- if you are interested in volunteering or in supporting financially, talk to Pam Jones who is the NISCU Church Representative for Christians Alive.
