Marcus & Louise Mosey

Marcus was born in Devon, grew up in the West Midlands, came to Lancaster in 1992 and completed a BA in German in 1996. He served as a Youth Worker at Heysham Free Methodist Church before entering the teaching profession. He joined Christians Alive less than a year after it began. Louise, a Burnley lass, received her English degree and worked for a year with young people in Wakefield before training as a Careers Advisor. They have 2 sons, Caleb and Josiah, and enjoy family life, going for walks in the Lakes and eating a good brunch. They are passionate about becoming more Christ-like and have a vision for the Church to be a loving, caring, spiritually mature family, which radically impacts society with the Gospel.

Ron & Barbara Tempest

Ron & Barbara Tempest have been in full-time ministry for thirty-five years serving the Lord in various locations in the UK and overseas. They have been involved in pioneering nine churches throughout the country and they currently visit China, India, Mongolia and the USA. Ron & Barbara, along with a number of others, pioneered Christians Alive from its beginnings in January 1999. Their role has changed within the church as they now live in Spain where they are connecting with and serving other churches. They still lead the overseas missions work of Christians Alive and bring regular inspirational and strategic ministry to the leadership and the church when home. They have two sons and five grandchildren.

David & Pam Jones

David & Pam have one school aged son, Nathan. David works as a Fire Detection Service Engineer, while Pam is Operations Manager for NISCU – a schools work ministry. They have been with Christians Alive since the church’s beginning in 1999. As an elder, David is responsible for overseeing finances, stewarding and the building and is also a trustee of the church charity. David & Pam are Pastoral Leaders and Pam also has a teaching role. They enjoy family pursuits such as walking and visiting historical places of interest. David is the true history buff and Nathan is rapidly following suit, while Pam a former biologist, loves natural history.
