History

Christians Alive Church was pioneered in January 1999 by a group of around 20 people led by founding pastor Ron Tempest and his wife Barbara. Since then, the church has grown and has a passion to reach the city and its surrounding areas. In January 2008 a group of people from the congregation were planted out to Carnforth to start a new work in the community they live in.

On 1st June 2006, Ron and Barbara decided to re-position themselves in the church and Marcus Mosey took on the role of lead pastor. Marcus and his wife Louise are passionate to see the Kingdom of God established in the church and in the city. They believe that Jesus loves each one of us and that He alone is the answer to the hurt and longing in our society.
