At Christians Alive we believe in reaching out to those in the local community who are in need of the love of God, be it spiritually, or practically. With our Help Direct outreach link, we have a fantastic opportunity not only to fulfil this, but to put the Word of God into action as well: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10)! Not only that, but we are blessed to be able to share the Good News of Jesus Christ to anyone who wants to know Him, as Lancashire County Council (who fund Help Direct) have raised no objection to us sharing the gospel with anyone WHO ASKS – How fantastic is that? We get to show God’s love, fulfil the Word of God and witness to the Good News of Jesus!

In 2011 alone, we have spent 188.65 hours blessing others and really making that practical difference to their lives, this is up on the figure of 105.75 hours in 2010!
